Florida sailing charter departs
from our dock in New Port Richey just north of Tampa at 10 am. We motor the
sailboat up the channel through a pretty waterfront residential area. Once out of the channel we hoist the sails, cut

We can sail to a snorkel spot
where depending on the conditions you can see sponges and colorful fish, and perhaps even a
Afterwards we'll sail toward peaceful Anclote Key
where we can anchor (or just float) and you can enjoy a balmy swim, relax
beach, go shelling, bring a picnic lunch or do nothing at all. We take
ashore to the islands from the sailboat by dinghy**.
depart from the islands and continue sailing at your convenience.
The cruise lasts 6 hours.
Bring your own MP3 player, all our
boats are equipped with stereos.
Despite Florida's mild winter climate, the
Gulf temperature drops into the lower 60's which is not conducive to
swimming so we offer a couple alternatives:
For the sailors, we can go all day
sailing, stopping only if need be for lunch.
We can anchor for lunch at the island, jump on our
dinghy** and ride to the beach where you can beach comb
and pick up shells.
Bring your wetsuit if you want to swim, the water will be
between 55 and 65 degrees!
Chances are you will see dolphins any time of the year as they do not migrate and absolutely love
sailboats, swimming in front of
the bow. It helps that we pay them to make appearances! View our
gallery for more pictures of
previous charters. Your Florida sailing charter will leave you with the best
memories of sailing in the Gulf of Mexico. Add a
Beach BBQ for even MORE FUN in the sun!
